Led the development and implementation of the AR experience content "Effect Mate" at "HOLOSTARS White Day Fair 2026 in Animate"

Our company was responsible for the system development of the AR experience platform "Effect Mate" and for the planning and production of exclusive content for the "HOLOSTARS White Day Fair 2026 in Animate," held starting February 28, 2026.
The fair is a large-scale promotional campaign centered on HOLOSTARS-related merchandise, rolled out across major Animate stores nationwide.
■ Project Overview Event name: HOLOSTARS White Day Fair 2026 in Animate
Period: February 28, 2026 (Sat) – March 22, 2026 (Sun)
Locations: Major Animate stores nationwide and Animate Online Shop
During the fair, select stores featured "Effect Mate Standees" for all 12 HOLOSTARS members. By performing AR shooting through the dedicated app, visitors could enjoy member-exclusive voice content.
■ Our Scope of Work
1. Development of the AR experience platform "Effect Mate" We were responsible for designing and developing the AR system linked to the in-store standees.
When visitors scan a standee through the app, the system enables:
Playback of member-exclusive voices
Season voices that switch between the first and second halves of the fair
Experiential promotional direction that drives offline store visits
creating an interactive mechanism that connects online and offline.
2. Planning and production of exclusive voice content For each of the 12 HOLOSTARS members, we planned and produced:
Two versions (first half / second half)
Content designed for store-specific rollout
Linked direction tied to the White Day ver. acrylic stand
realizing an immersive fan-facing experience that fuses physical merchandise with digital content.
■ Project Highlights The project represents a forward-looking initiative on multiple fronts:
A period-split voice design that drives repeat store visits
Experience design optimized for the IP's worldview
A commercial system build that delivers stable nationwide operations
We handled not only the technical development but also experience design and content production tailored to the characteristics of the IP — end to end.
■ Looking Ahead We will continue to actively expand projects, both in Japan and overseas, in the field of experience-driven content that fuses entertainment IP with AR technology.
