Animate and Holoceive jointly announce new AR service "Effect Mate"

Animate Ltd. has launched a new AR service, "Effect Mate," powered by AR technology. Produced by Holoceive Inc., this service expands how fans enjoy anime and character merchandise. Simply hold your smartphone over a compatible item to access special content such as AR effects and newly recorded voice.

The first title in the lineup is the "AR Acrylic Stand" from the popular series Given. It will be available as an early release at the "Given Exhibition - ENCORE" starting October 17. By blending digital elements with physical goods, the service aims to deliver an entirely new experience and deepen fans' connections with their favorite characters.

Additional compatible merchandise will be announced for Effect Mate going forward. Look forward to a new service that brings the world of each work closer than ever through physical goods.

Early release at the Given Exhibition! Experience the world of the work with the AR Acrylic Stand

As the landmark first product for Effect Mate, the "AR Acrylic Stand" from Given makes its debut. It will go on early sale from October 17 at Space Galleria on the 8th floor of Animate Ikebukuro Main Store, during the "Given Exhibition - ENCORE." Please note that admission to the exhibition is required for purchase.
